Crochet Pattern Review (Paid Pattern)

Hey, I know I’ve been slacking. I will get better posting on here.

Today, I wanted to tell you about this beautiful Crochet  Tinkerbell Inspired  set I’ve made. I’m very pleased on how it came out! The paid pattern is by Knitsycrochet on etsy (click here for the pattern). Each step was very easy to follow. I didn’t have to frog my pattern! The Crochet Beanie and wings were not in the pattern. Just the dress and booties. However, she does have a headband that’s included in the pattern. This pattern is a keeper in my book.

10 out of 10 Hooks for me. If you buy it Happy Crocheting!

Little Hats Big Hearts Project

Little-Hats-Big-Hearts-Logo

February is American Heart Month. American Heart Association Volunteers are spreading awareness by crocheting or knitting red hats for all babies born in February at participating hospitals. Congenital heart defects is the most common type of birth defect. If you would like to know more information or would like to participate in the Little Hats, Big Hearts™ project please go to www.heart.org/LittleHatsBigHearts

Thanks to my Friend Selma I didn’t know about this project until she tagged me in a flyer. I created a template for anyone that is donating hats from Philadelphia, Pa.

I will be putting them in each bag with each hat I make. I used Microsoft to create it.  I print ten on white card stock paper. I will upload photos on all the red crochet hats soon. Thanks in Advance!!!

How to Package Your Handmade Goodies?

Hey Guys! I love doing random act of KINDNESS! Last weekend, I crocheted a little girl a hat and infinity scarf set. When she received it yesterday afternoon, she was so surprised to see it was finished. She took off her glasses so she can put her hat on. Thank goodness it fitted. She didn’t put the scarf on because, she wanted to show her Mom the scarf wrapped up in the packaging.  I thought that was so nice of her. Below you can download the template to help you create your own wrapping for your handmade goodies.

They print 3 on a sheet. The wrap didn’t fit around the the scarf. So, I got my lovely hole puncher to put a hole on each end. Then I attached my scrap yarn to tie around, just enough to wrap the scarf.

NOTE: Save and Edit in a photo editor program/app to add your Logo or business contact info. Make sure it’s all center. Also, when you print make sure your setting is on landscape. I used Card Stock paper.

Enjoy!

I was M.I.A. because

Hey Guys!!! Yes I know I was M.I.A for a while. I haven’t post anything on this site for yearrrrrrrssssss lol. Okay some of you have me as a friend on Facebook which means you know the great news! I just had a Baby Boy about 2 months ago. Yes I was pregnant and no a lot of people didn’t know. I loved it that way because, it was less stress on me and I was mainly focus on my family and preparing myself mentally for my Rainbow baby. Three years ago I lost my first Born Jadon and after that I had two miscarriages. So you see how I had to stay calm and happy throughout this pregnancy? The newest addition to the family Elijah Joe King-Cason was born Wednesday September 10, 2014 at 10:29pm weighing 6pds and 5ozs. He’s the highlight of me and my Husband’s day and we couldn’t be more happy. We thank you all for the wonderful support throughout this heartfelt journey for the past three years. Since he sleeps so well at night and naps long on the weekends I can crochet again LOL. I have a new hat pattern (size 0-3months) that I want to type up and record a video for so hopefully I can get around to that soon.

Peace, Love and Live Life Happy!!!!!

What I’ve been Hooking!

So far I’ve been slowing down far as crocheting because I am spending more time catching up with family and friends. I still get crochet orders. So, I will never completely stop “Hooking” lol. Here’s a look at what is off and still on my hook!

This is call a crochango OVW on Youtube, my sis Marcelle, is the designer of the crochango pattern. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qAJH1Z6abOk I surely hope the customer will be please to get this tomorrow. I always have that nervous feeling that only goes away when the item gets to the person and they say, “I love it.”

This is a crochet set that I made for a customer. The customer wanted a mustard yellow infinity scarf. So I went to get the yarn. And as soon as I could crochet this order, I just picked up my L hook and double the strand of yarn and went the crocheting! No pattern what so ever! I had enough to make this cute head warmer too!

This is a special order for a great friend of mines. I don’t know if they visit my site so I won’t say much until the person gets it.

babyboyblanket

Thanks so much for visiting my site. I know I don’t be on as much as I should but God willing I will be on here more often!

Peace, Love and Happy Crocheting!

God Blessed!
